Before Replacement:
The old Mistral MSWH30 was no longer functional, with leaks at the tank. To ensure consistent performance and compliance with current PUB standards, the homeowner decided to upgrade to a Arsiton Andris Lux 30 model.
After Replacement:
A new Ariston Andris Lux WiFi 30 electric storage water heater was installed in the same position, following PUB submission requirements.
All necessary safety components were added, including:
- PUB-approved double check valve on cold inlet
- Anti-vacuum valve on hot outlet
- Stainless steel pipework (≤1m) for inlet/outlet connections
- Stop cock for isolation and maintenance
- Electrical bonding to the nearest metal pipe for safety
The installation was completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and Singapore Standard SS 636:2024 for water services. A valid PUB Certificate of Compliance was issued upon completion.

All works were carried out and supervised by a PUB-Licensed Plumber to ensure full compliance with Singapore’s water supply regulations.
- Power Isolation & Safety – Disconnected electrical supply and removed the old connector box for safe working.
- Dismantling – Removed the existing Mistral heater, corroded fittings, and outdated pipework.
- Installation of New Unit – Installed Ariston Andris Lux Wi-Fi 30, complete with:

Our PUB Licensed Plumber has endorsed that the work is done in accordance with the conditions stated below:
- All water service installations must be in accordance with the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations, Singapore Standards 636 for Water Services, and all other relevant statutory requirements.
- The proposed works shall not adversely affect the existing water supply reticulation system.
- The proposed water storage heater is installed in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the manufacturer.
- The installation of double-check valves is safe and effective in preventing backflow and the back-siphonage of water from the storage water heater through the heater inlet pipe, and will be safe for use.
